Philipp Krakau is managing partner at GLB. He holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford and a Magister (Master’s equivalent) degree in Political Science, Sociology and Public Law from the University of Potsdam (Germany). Further to his role as GLB’s managing partner at GLB, he is consultant for Latin America at Pflüger International.
Philipp Krakau counts, among other things, on work experience as policy officer for security policy in the Mexican office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Furthermore, he worked in La Paz (Bolivia) for an internationally active NGO in the field of intercultural communication as well as for the Chair for International Organizations at the University of Potsdam. His areas of expertise are politics and economics of Latin America, international politics and international relations as well as energy.
Philipp Krakau can look back on substantial experience in the field of intercultural communication. After a yearlong youth exchange to the United States, he worked for many years as a trainer and seminar leader for intercultural youth events.
Philipp Krakau was born and raised in Berlin. He speaks German, English and Spanish.
